They aren't just standing there
Breathing in and out your air

They are standing at the very spot
Seeing with the same clear eyes

And feeling that which you once did
The breath, the silence, the reply
Part want, part passionate distaste for it. Sharing as such.

And although summers have come and gone and the winters far to cold without my sweetheart In my arms far to cold are winters but I still smell her perfume as If she still
here
And although summers come and go and the Winters far to
cold but taste of her tender lips such passionate kissing that warm my winter days it was good to be
loved
And the summers that turn to winters for they come and go
but the memories of my sweetheart will long live on In my memories for the love we had was far to strong and I know our love will never
die

I try to stay away from saying "that is good"
I'll tell you if I like it that's about all I can do
who am I to say that, "this is how you should"
it might be your first time,
you might have paid your dues

You might have everyone on site, following you
you might have 10 million subscribers on youtube
you might be out of sight, without a single view
none of this makes your words any more true

or less..
so are you hearing what I'm stressing?
the lesson,
written in this script is not to stress and
I'm betting
that you already have intentions
of testing me
letting me
know

how best to flow

how best to go

how best to know

but I know

There's no need for all this fencing
and I'm not disrespecting
this is simply intervention
I just wish we could regress and
get back in to the text
dismiss the second-guessing
a meditation session
sit back, inhale, reflecting
enough with the dissection
but I'm digressing

This is a celebration
of all of your creations
of everything you'll make
so please don't hesitate
to join me in this session
of wordy poem pleasure
a worldly tome of leisure
a hundred hopes together
a sun for every weather
with love for every member
and I hope you remember
that all words fit together
Pieces of a jigsaw that never reach the edges

They’re there for their friends

They’re there to be seen,
Their thoughts are their own.
Their partner is their only saviour,
They’re currently living in their mobile home.

They’re trailer trash, in their home over there,
They love their partner, for they’re always there.
They’re there to comfort their daughter, like she was theirs;
They’re never quite sure if their lover is truly theirs forever.

For there seems to be no trust in their lover,
For they are paranoid their love isn’t just theirs,
But also another’s.
Their mothers were there on their wedding day;
They’re still together in their own place over there.

Amongst their friends over there; there my dear, over there.
Amongst their enemies, they’re there for their friends,
Whenever their friends need their love,
They’re always there to give them love;
Because their friends are there for them
To help them with their chores.

They’re over there in their caravan dying their hair.
For they’re bored of their life, lover,
Their home and their friends.

This poem was written simply because there are three versions of 'there'.  It has no other reason.

I am like my poems
And they're like me
Like I write about you
And you're like the sea.

I am your language
And you're my thoughts
Like I write about you
And you're like a lee.

I am a small garden
And you’re its flowers
Like I write about you
And you're like a bee.

I am the blue skies
And you're my dreams
Like I write about you
And you're like me.

I am the early morning
And you are the new day
What you look like today
I would like to see...

I think I love too easily.

I find it so simple to pick out the best traits in somebody.
I like to know what makes people tick and what makes their pupils dilate. I can fall in love with the way they talk about
their favorite shades of color
and the way they pick out groceries.

I am interested in the way people take their coffee
and if they prefer tea better.
and why
herbal
caffeinated

I find myself loving people for their laughter
and the crinkles beneath their eyes when they smile.
And I think it’s so cute whenever they suppress their grins
when they think of something funny or memorable.
I love the way people talk about life
and what’s on their mind;
it’s nice to know that there is more
more to discuss than the sounds on mattresses
and the type of plant they inhale.
You are beautiful.
I love the way people spill their hearts out when they’re happy
or when they’re sad.

Sometimes, when they don’t let me love them,
it makes me want to love them even more.

And even when they don’t love me back, I still continue to love.
It's not all that hard, it's so easy to learn,
Each and every one of these simple rules.
You see, I'm not even American,
But not even us Mexicans are such fools.

I know this language like I know myself,
I never laid hand on the shelf,
Where everyone placed their literature books,
Just to drop it for looks.

It's easy to remember,
Why can't you see,
English is so easy,
Or is it just me?

No.
That wouldn't make sense.
Spanish was my first language.
Yet I've come to know English better than my native tongue.

You're not North American, British, or Australian?
Alright whatever, I'll let it slide.
But really, born and raised here?
Come on, it's a free ride.

Deosnt it btoher you taht erevy wrod is speled rong?
Notice can't that you is order your wrong?
Proud to be an American, it isn't really saying much.
Cuz it lik jus syin I cn bearle evn speek such.

Yes, I think you're stupid, every time you spell wrong,
Because it's so easy to fix even a word that is long.
It makes me wonder wether your autocorrect's off?
Because that simple thing, knows each time that you're off.

Is it really so hard to put in that one vowel,
Or put in the consonant so your spelling's not foul.
Or correct the double-negative, you know it's not true,
It's easy to do, just proofread right through.

We all have the ability needed learn,
Yet it seems your ability's been placed in an urn.
You've got a big brain, so why don't you use it?
Trust me, I know, you shouldn't abuse it.

If you have pride in nothing else,
That's fine,
But it's good to have pride in the fact that you know,
YOUR LANGUAGE.
Be proud that you can communicate well,
Be proud that even the nerdiest of nerds can't use words you won't understand,
Be proud that you know how to use correct punctuation,
Be proud to know where "ph", "gh", "ou", "eau" and the silent "t" are used,
Be proud to know which words comes first, and which one comes last,
Be proud to know English, you can learn it all fast,
Be proud to know the art of words,
The art so many ancient cultures knew,
The ancient Japanese, and Romans, and even the French,
Yet America has forgotten how to use words.
Be proud to be a leader of the generation in the USA,
The generation that brings back knowing our own tongue,
So that foreigners who come don't know us better than us.
Be proud to know the beauty of language.
It really bothers me, it almost ****** me off, how much people seem to go out of their way to not learn their own language. People can compose great poems, but if you can't spell, or if the order's all wrong, your poem begins to lose its meaning and artistic value, it doesn't even make sense anymore.

If my thoughts
are backwards,
there,
then their
not.
