When you think about it we are all storytellers
Whose story do we believe?
Whose story is out to deceive?
What story will you tell today?
Are sad, mad or glad?

Lost in the lullabies, stories told to sweeten
Life's sour aftertaste from which we all have weakened.
We are the storytellers, weaving webs of lore
Made to be our weight bearers when we can bear no more.
This world is just a story; This life: fictitious folly.
No rights.  No wrongs.  No this or that. Just tales to keep us jolly.
This was inspired by History professor Yuval Noah Harari — author of Sapiens: A Brief History of Mankind-- from his article entitled "why humans run the world" which I happened across on ideas.ted.com.

We can make you fall in love
We can make you sing along

We can craft a love affair
We can fake it like we care

We can lure you with our bait
We can be your worst mistake

Both truth tellers and deceivers
We are poetic word weavers

Beware of our siren songs.

We write things we don't understand,
We write about the feelings erupting inside,
The story behind every smile,
The sadness behind every tear,
We write about the things that keep us awake late at night,
And the things that awake us from a deep slumber,
We are not only poets but story tellers as well.

*Of our own daily life, write more, express more and hurt less.
Writing is one of the expression, when one writes something that make people feel the same, it just shows how much that one is hurting.
