She was the moonlight
Pewter sprite that tiptoed the world
And never made an impression.
Lunar and light,
Dappling, dreamily across the surface
Never sinking, always glittering and glorious.
Though the sea roared
Monstrous and mean, jaggedly reaching
Greedily for her feet,
She was out of reach,
Lovingly lifted to where
she was always meant to be.

She comes only on the darkest of nights,
an alluring songstress of sleep.
She dances in the dreams and fantasies of many,
the cost of her seduction is steep.

She can steal the hearts of the most loyal men,
tempt any woman's desire.
She creates a sensuous paradise of lust,
beware the consequences are dire.

Many a soul have been lost to her charm,
led easily into the moonlight.
Enticed by the sway of her hips as she twirls,
a captivating show of sultry delight.

She's an insatiable spirit of shameless passion,
her words are provocative lies.
For when she lures you into her arms,
you become a star in her sky.

She draws you away from your loved ones on Earth,
her smile overloads your every nerve.
Yet you are forced to watch over the ones you have left,
a fate you do not deserve.

There is no way to fight her embrace,
no magic spell or plea.
You'll find yourself yearning for when she takes your hand,
and whispers "Come away with me".

She'll gaze upon her glittering conquests,
with an experienced collector's eye.
She'll laugh and dance among her trophies,
naught they can do but cry.

So when you happen upon a shooting star,
racing across the sky.
Know that it is not a star; merely stardust,
a tear escaping a captured eye.

Tucked between bark and the life blood of trees
Shrouded in shadows and leaves
Deep at the core of the heartstrings of woods
From magic and elmwood conceived

Living in silence but also in wood
Falling for none but the axe
Standing in stillness, her shroud is a cage
Her only consolements are tracks

She watches and wishes as travelers come
Hoping that one will commit
To chopping her life giving elm cage away
And helping her learn to forget

A man did just that in the forest one day
He swung and his axe whistled through
She fell to the ground and she tried to get up
But her elm cage had trapped her there too

Merrytree the Holly sprite
danced across the snow,
no mark did she leave in sight
wither whether she doth go.

So joyful and magickal is she,
darting in betwixt the flakes,
her wild spirit cavorting free,
laughing at mischief she makes.

A red-headed sprite
With a deep love for all things music

I offered 2 years to the gods of brand communication
Only to discover a passion to question everything

Springing into the world of harsh advertising
I still retain my love for ambiguous alliterations

Paired with a glass of single malt whiskey and some Chinese takeout
I’m excited for this new journey into the Universe of Planners
To the red headed new girl.
The little silver sprite rides the silver leaf,
of the blue, briar-berry thorn bush,
you can find him out at night!

The little silver sprite rides the silver leaf,
of the blue, briar-berry thorn bush,
when the stars are full and bright!

The little silver sprite rides the silver leaf,
of the blue, briar-berry thorn bush,
see the snow out on the ground?

The little silver sprite rides the silver leaf,
of the blue, briar-berry thorn bush,
dancing in the snowflakes' falling sound?

The little silver sprite rides the silver leaf,
of the blue, briar-berry thorn bush,
The leaves they are attractive, they shimmer in the night...

...like the snowfall, so distractive, a twisting shiny sickness is a tasty sight,
though the berries not delicious their taste is only acrid, and hiding a secret acid, yet pungent, smelling right?

The bush's thorns they punish those who root among the branches while the sprite he dances in-between the flashes of pain and belly aches the acid courses through one’s veins and the evil sprite it smiles knowing well where its source of nutrient for the winter has died and felled!

The little silver sprite rides the silver leaf, of the blue, briar-berry thorn bush; but only at night…

Earth may try to break you
And Life, she'll try to take you
Love may live without you
And Silence my let the pain through

But Nature will love you kindly
And restore all you've lost
You're a creature of the Earth
Of nature hard and soft

Stress may do you badly
And Anxiety may wrack your bones
Apathy may take you gladly
And Tears may drag you from home

But Wind and Water will grow you
Laughter and Love will heal you
The Sun will hold and cradle you
And let Joy come through

Don't let the Fire take you
Don't follow behind Regret
You're a spirit of Nature herself
An Earth sprite born and bred.
