crawl on your ears lion,
befriend the lamb, give it life,
serenade the land.
I wrote a lot of haikus today because we did haikus in a warmup today and I got carried away, enjoy!

A year to end
within it …~
Many of  untold
stories of time
again.

A new journey
to discover…~
So as this heart
would learn to
embrace.

As this year
says goodbye…~
Let thy new songs
serenade my soul.

While this fruit
my present was…~
Am being thankful
and grateful.

Because in Thee,
Words in tune.
So, that this spirit
may fills with ~ gladness.

In my Garden
at the night
a lover wakes up
to the sight

Of Twinkling Stars
and Dazzling Moon
he sings a song
and plays a tune

laden with dew
amidst the green grass
he calls out to his beloved
she's a beautiful lass

he sings the mating song
in a sweet gentle croon
comes hopping down to him
his lover so swoon

A serenade of love
rings through the night
the music plays
till the morning light
Inspite of the stillness
I couldn't sleep
thinking of her
lost in memories deep

My heart is craving for her
singing a calling song
my voice unheard
it's forgotten long

Will she ever see
the love in my eyes?
the silent sighs
my chirps and cries?

You wrote me a new kind of Rhapsody
But I didn't know you then
You didn't or couldn't have known me
Because I didn't know myself
untill I met you

Since that day my bones are Brittle
Covered with strange layers of Ice
and thorn
Every word you spoke
felt like a knitting of smooth silk
Digging into myself and our love

I spent nights alone condoling myself with sleepless serenades and pauses of breath
I wrote you a love song once
but you melted it
And I took it from there that my heart would follow yours
but no chase would begin
Because you say yours belongs elsewhere
But of course I know that you are wrong

his soft voice sang to her,
beneath her window.

guitar in hand,
he strummed the strings carefully,
he wanted everything to be perfect,
only of her.

she was holding a smile that he hasn't seen before,
a genuine smile, from the heart.
her heart melted as she watched
the boy she loved with her whole heart
serenade her under her window,
just like in their favorite movie.
