I love rabbits
Adam Struble Jun 2014
i throw myself into the waves of life's experiences, and the ocean she does not crash me into the rocks.
she washes me clean and changes me.
the deep deep water of dreams
the ancient currents lead me to strange new islands
exotic and curious rabbit holes
random mad tea parties
celebrations of life
and embracing the wonder of the light pouring through the morning window
smoke in sunlight
incense and candlelight
smoke dancing in the waves of music
the ocean of air we swim in
we are at the bottom of this ocean
the deep deep water of air.

The window seems to move away
It's all very grey
As I seem to plummet down the rabbit hole
It all started with a stroll
I may have lost control

I will reach my goal
I will touch the light
I don't need a white knight

I will burn the night alight
Let's ignite the rabbit hole together, tonight
See the skylight shine bright

We will be reunited with the window light,
I can see it through the keyhole
It will not happen overnight, but we will escape the *rabbit hole

Where the white rabbit is on time for once.
From South Africa he ran,
To be tried before the red queen -
for shooting Mary Ann.

It's where the buildings are not simply filled
with cakes and cups of tea;
They explode - not from happiness -
but planes and TNT.

Where we need not paint the roses red
nor support the white knights plight.
For recently he lost his head -
Now they're painting England white...
