Emotions are like
a piece of paper.
After you hurt someone,
like when you crinkle
a piece of paper,
even when you apologize
they still have marks.
Words never leave someone,
no matter how much you try
to fix what you did.
Never hurt someone else
because they'll never fully recover.
Always be kindπŸ’œ

We are careless and reckless
We don't deserve your forgiveness

But

You show us your greatness
Through your kindness
And showed us our purpose

We will try to be flawless
Beacuse Your happiness is priceless......
I walk along the edge of night
& sing my song
To the darkness
To my conscientious mind
Having them poured with love & Kindness

when silence breeds discontent
and critics ensnare your feet
in a morass of minutiae
amplify your truth

when gossip makes
a mischief of reality
stand your ground
command all energy
toward positivity

never relent because
others seek to mold you
in their stale likeness
never submit to quietude
when you are gifted
a poetic voice

It's your obligation
to subjugate negation
and contort vexation
into your own narration
toward personal salvation
Your thoughts, your creation
only your fingers, the translation

Never submit to false authority
lies, malice do not signify you
hold your head high
Look to the stars
and dream in words
again
HP is a safe haven for poetry and creative expression, and we have a responsibility to protect this hallowed ground as a place to think, share, and dream. This poem is my pledge to remain true to our mission as poets. Never let others' opinions falsely define you.  Dare to be authentically, unapologetically yourself.

The words flutter out of your mouth and burn themselves into my back, scarring me forever with the feeling of kindness.

this writing is for you,
those who have always seen the best in me.

this writing is for you,
those who think i am worth something.

this writing is for you,
those who have unknowingly saved my life.

this writing is for you,
so you know that i will keep on finding my purpose in life.

this writing is for you,
so you know that you mean a lot to me,

this writing is for you,
so you know that i will spend the rest of my life repaying your kindness.

this writing is for you,
from me, who is a nobody, but will be a somebody one day.

because of you.
some of you are my friends for a couple years, and the other is my crush. thank you for saving my life.

Produce to consume and light your fire.
Persist through a mix of focused work. Permanency provides false hopes. Passion comes from prolonged desire.

Recognise your present form, for we are forever changing, born again through death. As emotions whisp away and our memories fade. Life creates new ways.

Aim to be observant of the unknowable, touching what cannot be felt, offer kindness to those in and out of sight. As our mind's eye flies. The universe is alive and we will again become well.

when hands meet,
the world heals...
veins intertwine
and survival becomes certain.

Golden is her laugh
To welcome friends near and far
Kindness is her strength

New day, new haiku!
Feeling slightly better but I'm making sure I dont overdue it.
Hard to believe that this poem marks my 960th poem too! Just wow!
Now for the last of the young Charites, children of Hephaestus and Aglaia [aka Kharis, one of the three Charites].

This is Philophrosyne, Goddess of Welcome, Friendliness and Kindness.
Again, not much on her but I see her as someone who also possesses childlike qualities, just wanting to see the best in everyone and everything. Making friends all over the world, and she treasures them deeply. This is based on some people I know in my day to day life.
Despite how cruel the world is, I still believe in the power of kindness...but I've learned to be cautious with it, as when people see kindness they may take advantage. Ive learnt this the hard way and I think I've gotten better at establishing boundaries with said kindness too.

Be kind but also dont be afraid to set boundaries. Welcome people from all over the world as you have friends you have yet to meet!
Anyway, thank you all for growing followers, I'm forever humbled and grateful for the support πŸ™πŸŒΉπŸ’œ
