Gum
I feel like gum
Sticky stuck to the bottom of your shoe
Part of me
Clings to you
And you walk on me

And I hold on to you.

You scrape, scrape, scrape me off
And like a fool, part of me
Remains with you.
Chewed up
Rejected
***** and clingy

A pain in your step

Not welcome home.
Noticed and shameful
A careless mistake.

I'm like the gum on the bottom of your shoe.
Done for.

Today, I went to see my old friend
Someone who has been by my side since the beginning.

He has walked with me through the trails in my life.
He has taught me how to dance on the edge of a knife.

He does not speak-
I still listen
He does not move-
I still march

He does not have treasures that you and I could measure.
He gives you the pleasure of an adventure.
It is hard to believe that it's been so long
but time has only made us strong.

Thank you, my dearest friend, for showing me how to be free and introducing me to the trees.
Thank you for a journey that only a Road could take me.

The translucent glass
Small vines wrap around
It connects the inside to the outer shell
The bones of hollow
And the gloss of blues
Vivid to the eye
Reflections of light show themselves
The small mysteries of earthy heavens
The sounds of frigid winds carry
The small angels of earth
They blend and blind the blood ones
Those who stalk its lusterful beauty
To watch it float is like to watch a tear fall
Fall from the eyes of innocence
Glowing with flames of ice
Perpetual harmonious laughter
Ringing like small myths to the eyes
Glorious creature they are
Glorious they will be,
Those who fly

Dead. Her brown gentle curls sprawling around on the concrete, slowly being touched with blood. Soft brown eyes, so wide of shock and fear of the events that had just occurred. Her body lays there mangled, and her limbs in every which direction in a uncomfortable position, not that she would feel it anyway. Her once yellow summer dress filled with white flowers is now stained an ugly rust red.
Gone. What once was filled with the very essence of pure life, now gone and is left with an empty shell. No longer will she walk down those bright city streets. No longer will she lay against the old tree, sketching out the ducks swimming in the pond. No more laughter to fill the deadly silence of a boring afternoon. No more pointless conversations just to talk about everything and anything. That’s all gone.
Forever. She’s never coming back, not like when she would leave for work or go out for lunch with her many friends. She’s not going to come through the door and say “I’m home!” Or those soft “I’m back.” She’s never going to be here, not with me, and not with anyone. She is no more, like a flower, the most beautiful ones are picked and become dead. Forever she is gone and dead.

Even though my syllables ballerina
may falter, my metaphor's never
                                                  falter.

I balance my wording between
the lines of reality and
                                   fantasies realm.

Dancing upon the imagery of
others thoughts and lives.
                           Living their words.

I'm a ballerina of imagery, feeding
there visual needing, I dance upon
                           their needing of word

Innuendoes were woven within each pressure
point of his embrace upon her being, oral
expressions were versed within probing
fingers as they were proficient in understanding.

Stimulating her positions of enjoyment, murmurs
were the braille of his perception, and he read her
well before even a touch was entitled upon.
Waiting moments had counted down to this joining.

As lips wandered like a Shepard herding the feelings of
her body to points she hadn't realized, he collected all her
urges in a inception of gathering dew, that he tasted with
haste. Fingers were a delicacy from her origin to his emotions.

Her breath upon his lips sticky as tongues delivered silent
messages to another's attention, woven silk was moist
between accents of loves intentions. No words were spoken
only the smiles of elation that swam in each others eyes.

Bright lights shine a silhouette and show the glowing eyes of dark souls
in a frenzy of rapid motion i feel the pulsing  of the bass drum the screaming of the cymbals and the gallop of the toms this is no energy you can escape from it creeps between the crack of every dream and the dark of every nightmare the animalistic ties you have will take you over until the drums stop and show is over
Finger tips tread lightly around her navel; chills exploding loudly, trying to refrain her movement projected in short rhythmic oooooo'ing
After wandering into a field I had fantasized all my basic life
I waded into fading pH pools
Looking through a flower, I fleetingly saw you
Trapped between petals and figments, peering back at me
Caught off guard and slipping into the arena of my past
I wished, I remembered, and then I corroded
With a neutralizing epiphany,
I realized you were content to stay.
