The city slept, waiting for dawn.
Shopwindows and houses wholly slept.
The moon and me were wandering lonely,
Two sad loners being night windswept.

Nothing will flurry, nobody'll bother.
The night is dark and quiet awesome.
The wind repeats the heartbeat in lockstep.
I'm not in full. It seems I've lost some.

I'm shuffling and the moon is nearby.
I am sick out of this hellish pain.
That night I parted with me in whole,
That me, who forgave with no refrain.
There is a lot of pain and emptiness, disappointment and regret in this poem.
Especially thank you very much for reading this poem!  ðŸ’–

I forbid myself to love you!
It's unbearable!
It's like I'm tearing myself to pieces,
To shreds at all!
I madly want to be with you!
More than nearer!
But I forbid myself to think of you!
Not at all!

I forbid myself to remember you!
It's torture!
The sunshine in my window at dawn -
It's you!
Without you I maim my Soul!
I **** her!
My days, my dreams, my thoughts are naught
Without you!
I want to talk again about love, the only love, painfully strong, destructive, but so exceptionally necessary.
Thank you very much for reading it! 💖

Waking up, lightly

balancing between repose --

and my brand new day.

H. In darkness,
R. shadows weave their silent threads,
H. whispers dance where moonlight dreads.

H. In light,
R. golden rays embrace the dawn,
R. hope reborn, the night withdrawn.

H. If I’m still broken,
R. let the wind collect my sighs,
H. stitch my soul where sorrow lies.

H. Laying despairingly in this life,
R. like a leaf in winter’s hand,
R. drifting lost through barren land.

R. Yet even roots in frozen ground,
hear the call of spring’s soft sound.
H. Through the cracks where teardrops fell,
hope still blooms, a quiet spell.
A duet written with ChatGPT as my partner. This is extremely experimental and will not be a running theme in my posts. Let me know how you think the AI did each line is marked with H for human or R for robot.

Half awake I am

floating in my consciousness --

and in my body.

The world is asleep,

lightly breathed upon and kissed --

by the rising sun.

No soul paid witness,
To the burst of light,
At the beginning of time.

No soul saw the magic,
As it grew, forming the light,
Forming the dark.

No soul heard the heavenly spirits call,
From the risers of the stars,
Down to earth to raise the first dawn.

So all we have is faith,
A lone tie to what we failed to see.
Whether or not there was magic or God, there was something amazing, and that is what faith holds on to.

There once was a man from Bombay
Who enjoyed a remarkable day:
     It started at sunrise
When the sun chose to unrise,
And it ended when Earth rolled away.

she brings the rain, soft and slow,
a hush of silver, a gentle glow.
yes, i care for springtime bright,
but care for nothing in her light.

she brings the rain, the world turns grey,
yet melts the clouds, she clears the way.
in dawn’s embrace, so cool, so wide,
she brings the rain, i stand inside.
inspired by a song i heard in the show euphoria
Morning sun dawns new,
A glowing kiss on the dew,
Shining, just like you.
I start and end my day with her.
