Tink Nov 2017
Hurray, hurray, my day has come.
I'm celebrating another twenty-one.
How could this year turn any better?
A competition is the big matter!
There can't be hardly any dull,
when commenting becomes my fun.
Enjoy the place, come over here!
Pick me, pick me, my dear!
This would make my day so very great,
even when it's seven days to wait!

The blanket of stars draped over the sky
lighting up your path towards another book
Dip your feet into your overflowing ink of acquired wisdom,
Step on the blank first page of your own tome,
and dance your way across the page
Fill every inch
Write every name
Paint every memory
For a moment is all we are
And this moment is yours
the season, in which the bud will finally bloom
A girl you once were,
but now shall be regarded as a blossomed lady

And I will always be by your side
whenever you get tired
of dancing
of writing
of filling the blank paper
whenever your feet swell
whenever you run out of ink
whenever it gets hard to turn the pages,
I will be by your side

Let us turn every page of today into yesterday
For my bestfriend, Jen. Happy 18th birthday! I love you girl.

I'm falling
faster than a diving hawk
yet, with five cm. per second
have been falling for :
two hundred and sixteen months
or eighteen years
or so I reckon . . .

Not much is left
the board is cleared
all pieces played their chosen roles
and here I am
the latest pawn
I'm all that's left
I'm all that's left . . .

So I'll masquerade
to celebrate
this last parade
of adolescence
and when I wake up
I'll still be the same
the same old man
the same old child
still falling in the pit
of society's crimson essence.
Happy birthday me

The best year of my life
It all blurs together
Into a seamless, funny film
It's an old film, a heartwarming one
There's static on the screen
There's soft French jazz in the background
I'm golden
You're golden
It's all golden
This is the only way I can see the past year
It was a massive wave of change,
A wave that brought you in,
And has kept you here
This has been the best year

12:00 a.m.
Now it's over,
And you're still here.

Strong and powerful with his words,
he speaks of the glory that lies above.
He's surrounded by four pretty cool girls,
and he shows them immense love.

He's been through ups and downs,
but he still puts on a smile in front of others.
He's been through so many towns,
some were "home", and others were just filled with pretty colors.

It's impossible to sum up this man,
all you need to know is that he has a lot of brains.
Whatever happens, he always has a plan.
He only cares about his family and his Sunday games.

If my dad had lived, he would be the big 7-0.
On this day, Dad was born seventy years ago.
Seven decades is how long he would've been alive.
But leukemia killed him, Dad did not survive.
He lost his life in 2013 on the 13th of July.
Dad would be the big 7-0 if he hadn't died.
Dedicated to Charles F. Johnson (1947-2013) who died on July 13, 2013.

You're gone
And I'm mad
Sad
Frustrated
Lonely
I miss you
And heres another birthday gone
7 years
And it has been so long
And yeah
I'm crying
Still playing back you dying
While everyone here is making a big deal
And all I want for my birtbday
Is one last meal

your birthday party.
sirens.
crowds gathered in the lawn,
both
from the festivities
and more,
after the incident.

i'm told
that the piece
of hard candy
you choked on
dissolved before
help could arrive.

4 years old,
and the balloons
on your mailbox
seem more Haunting
than celebratory.
