This pain is eating me day after day,
Like minuscule maggots chewing at decay.

The lonely vulcher pecking at the dead rodent
While I'm still lost in the moment.

The moment where your lips touched mine,
Tasting like nothing more than aged wine.

Your lips gave me a hint of serenity,
Then thinking 'what has gotten in to me?'

The moment where I was laughing in the shed
Where your lust filled eyes were being fed.

Your eyes sparked a fire in my heart,
Making my world feel like a piece of art.

The moment we were in the cemetery
Talking about how absurd it is to bury

But now look at me,
Trying to bury what used to be.

"Kiss me" is where it all began that day,
But now it's nothing but minuscule maggots chewing at decay.

I want my words to be beautiful.
Beautiful like yours.
I want to see ordinary things,
Find the magic in them,
And put the magic on a page, for everyone to understand.

I want to have a way with words.
I want every poem of mine
To become a masterpiece.
Just like yours.

I am not broken.

But you are.

You see the world through pain,
And pain makes the colors brighter.
It makes the value of feelings
Climb higher.

Sometimes I wonder
If I should be broken like you
If I want my words to resonate
Like yours.

Sometimes I wonder,
If it will be truly worth it
In the end.

I wonder what it will be like,
To cut myself up to pour out the beauty inside me.

Just like you.

I imagine that you
Raise the blade
Slice your feelings open
And write your masterpiece
In red.
Can only sad people write good poems? Can only broken people find inspiration in anything?

I was falling
It seemed like forever
Getting hotter and hotter

I swear I seen the flames
From the depths of hell.

I felt comfort that day
Like I was going somewhere innocent
But yet again, I felt guilt.

The pleasurable suspense
Had me begging for more.

He whispered,
"You're mine now"

The devil kissed my neck
And it felt like heaven.

Is there any redemption for this?
When will you forgive me?
Why won't you stop throwing this fire in my face?
When will this ******* fire burn out?

I love the rain.
I believe that rain drops don't just come from the clouds,
I think that they come from a better place.
They wash away the sins of the ground,
Cleaning our earth of the pain from the days previous,
So we can start over.
I dance in the haze of tears from the heavens,
Hoping that they'll sink into my skin
And cleanse my soul of it's sorrows.

This is my theory of emotion.
It ruins you
Extracting bone marrow pain
Rubbing my every inch raw with your calloused and greedy fingers
This should be considered an emergency cause this **** don’t heal the pain
Popping pills of what ifs on an empty stomach
With the full knowledge of the inevitable bile rising into my throat
Acid gnawing holes in my stomach lining and revolting the truth
Spreading through my body like a parasite
Feeding off of my flesh and bone
Your consumption will be the end of me
