Once in the corner of my
you were gone

Then wrapped in his arms
you were gone

You held out your hand I reached
you were gone

I smelt your perfume turn looked
you were gone

Rushed home to our house
you were gone

Then I awoke
You turn kissed my cheek
I cried

how luck I was
you are back

I won't sleep tonight
Nothingness:
Nothing,
Non-Existence,
Infinite, Eternal black space stretching out
Beyond imagination.

Yet even Nothing is a Something
That Exists.
Even Nothing could create
The Big Bang.

Everywhere we look
Subatomic particles wink and blink
Into Being
Then vanish
To reappear.

We are never stable
Ever changing
In tune
With mathematical equations.

The wonder of it all.
Force, energy, matter
Incredible piles of rock
And clouds of gas.
Supersuns and bottomless black holes.
All indifferent to the fact of their own existence
Until Life appears
Perhaps inevitably
With minds to witness
These incredible happenings
That happen
Until the end of time
If time can end.

A follow-up to my "Nothing" and "Existence" poems.
It was clumsy & awkward when I saw several ****-*** gays break
gay hearts in 2 ****-***-gagger gay ways, ½ gay & all-the-way gay

A soul departs a body upon death. The soul is placed into a new body (a baby), within 72 hours. Drowned sailors are referred to as "lost souls" because souls cannot escape (nor be retrieved from) deep, salt water. A human soul weighs 1 ounce.
"Oh Tata you're crazy"
Almond shaped eyes pointing in
Two directions, hair still frizzy from
The static on your two toned wool
Sweater, your glasses askew hanging
Precipitously on the edge of your nose

"You're crazy" I saw again when
You'd show me notebooks filled
Earnest hasty lines naive to prove
Their worth to the world, stumbling
Figures eager to spread world peace

"You're crazy" I repeated as you
Gingerly combed the remaining strands
Of greying hair and tuck your collared
Shirt into your pressed khakis but left
ice cream splotches drying on your arms

Too late I realized that you weren't crazy
I was just too small to it was the world
That was crazy so strict with their lines and rules about who could and couldn't be
And you existed in between spaces yet undefined

"Hey, so could we maybe be a couple?"
"Maybe? That sounds a bit indecisive."
" Well, I know I love you"
"And I love you. "
"You do? "
" More or less."
"So then we're a couple?"
"I don't know."

"I don't think much would change between us, so.."
"So, we don't have to be a couple then."
"Yeah, maybe we're better off friends."
"Yeah, maybe."

"What if we do become a couple one day?"
"We'll probably be a couple forever or find someone better."
"Yeah..that is how that goes."

"Do you really want to be together that much?"
"I don't know."
O, loving rain,
Quench my thirst,
Heal the pain
That my heart hurts.
Crash the thunder
As my cry
To end the drought
So hot and dry.
Clouds of grey,
With lips of red,
Kiss awake
My lover dead.
Send him home
On bolt of light
Then paint the heav'n
With rainbows bright.
