It was cold. And  quick.
Not the moment my heart was torn, but
The second it was put back together, so quickly.
So happily.
So lovingly.

And suddenly I was weightless,
Barely a cloud
Near the ground, obstructing the
Paths that my eyes wander down.
Simply a stream of consciousness,
Fear,
Anguish,
Demonstrated by demons
And the flames flavoured
Like chocolate and ghost peppers.
Burning blisters on the insides of
My teeth, spreading through my bones
As a parasite would slither
Down my throat.
And I wanted to be purified.

Where did the shyness go?
              I remember
hiding under
              women's skirts
red
              faced
counting freckles staring
              as the universe unwound
gazing
              at the birth of stars
and the aura
              left.
now
              I stare down.

i want to grow up and be
the bestest dammed poet /
I want to see
at least one muse 1
and make an
imaginary pond O
silvery glow
s
and swim naked
snakey
avant garde(ly)
in all my failings
exposed and in bad taste
written with blood from
fish i squished
bear handed
and squeezed
of all they scense?

I wanted to say she smelled like flowers
But I don't like flowers at all
I meant to say her cheeks were as pink as roses
But I hate roses for having thorns

I thought her smile was as warm as the Sun
But I prefer rain over sunshine
I wanted to write her voice was like a summer breeze
But I like winter better

There is nothing to explain
No reason to love her
Yet, she makes me smell roses and carry an umbrella
Yet, she makes me wish for summer in december
