For the anticipation of the night
For the beating in my chest
For its racing and throbbing
For the anticipation of the night.
For my thoughts all jumbled and creative
For times unbearable passing
For the anticipation of the night
For it’s got me waiting.
For my closet to overwhelm me
For the anticipation of the night;
For it to mock me with my indecisive nature.
For my hair to cooperate
For this night I have been anticipating
For my eyes to sparkle
For the next time I set eyes upon you.
For the anticipation of the night,
For the butterflies in my stomach,
For their playful, fluttering behavior,
For the anticipation of the night.
For the final realization
For the final dream come true,
For your hands that hold my face
For those lips that mold with mine
On this night I have been anticipating.

That vessel of my being
Is in tune
With the pulsing sunny rays
As they set to work
And shed their warmth upon
Any and all who cross their path.

My breath is calm
As the soft, warm breeze,
In and out, deep and slow
That caresses and plays
With all who care
Not so.

My bearer of thoughts is at peace
With the beauty of this world
And it savors this moment,
This shining and glorious moment
Of a perfect state of
Nature.

But sadly it parts
Blown away by icy
Winds.
And it fights to return
And revive what should be
And needs be revived.

The war will not end
Until the crickets are
Chirping and the birds
Singing and the squirrels
Frolicking and the flowers
Blossoming once more.

This beauty is almost
And finally officially here
To grace my life,
My being,
My soul,
With the invigorating sense of new life
And fresh beginnings.

For the cold, cold mornings
For the blustering, icy winds
For how they freeze my nose and ears.
For I love to walk on ice
For the ground, it loves to mock me.
For the cars that creep along
For they are silent as can be.
For the birds that are not present
For how I miss their sweetened songs.
For the icy crystals that must leave
For the sun’s rays do arrive
For the warmth gracing our world
For it enlightens me through
To my soul.

We’ve always been together
Yet always apart.
We’ve changed just like the weather
With our hearts set apart.

But now I have chosen
To jump for you.
No longer am I frozen
When I think of you.

Please don’t let me fall
Because my heart can’t bear it.
I’ve conquered this wall
Of hardship I swear it.

You’re the perfect guy
Who is worth my while
When I catch your eye
My lips can’t help but smile.

Yeahhhhhh

With eyes so sweet
And arms so strong
I can’t stop the heat
The rushes to my cheeks.
How can I be wrong?
You know we are meant to be.

You make my heart skip beats
Every now and then
I force my breath to meet
My lungs again.
And this is because we are
Meant to be.

I learn mind over matter
But this is not true.
The facts always tatter
When I think of you.

When you are not here
I can’t stand the distance
But when you are near
I begin to dance.

Your voice crowds my mind
And possesses my soul.
It isn’t hard to find
But it makes me whole.

As the day is led
I watch the time.
I can’t wait to be connected
And lose track of time.

Yeahhhhhh

With eyes so sweet
And arms so strong
I can’t stop the heat
That rushes to my cheeks.
How can I be wrong?
We know we are meant to be.

My heart skips beats
Every now and then
I force my breath to meet
My lungs again.
This is because we are
Meant to be.

How can I be wrong?
I can’t stop the heat.
How can I be wrong?
We know we are meant to be.
Meant to be….

Whispers of wind
Tickle the grass
That tickles my toes
That crunch the leaves
That disturbs the peaceful air.

The hum of crickets
Then reaches my ears
Along with the musical
Chirping of birds
To bring this untouched
Wonder to life
And as full of energy
As of the squirrels that jump around.

The smell that is sweet
And fresh
And rejuvenating
Invigorates me
As I watch in awe
As the sun’s glistening rays
Caress the trees
That stand firm and bold
And strike the leaves
That are intricately placed.

This kingdom of peace
Is then slowly disturbed
As the sun begins to set
When the bugs are free
To come out and play
And that was bad news
For me.

Like silent thieves
They came to me
To steal that which
Flows through my veins.
But that spot
That makes me itch
Is evidence
Of their evil deed.

But the day is not
Ruined
Nor the serenity
Forgotten
As I leave this spot
And wait for the day
When I am fortunate
Enough
To enjoy the beauty
Of this nature scene
Once more.

Powdery blue
And beautiful too
Dramatically vast
Nature’s wishes last.

Cotton is in place
Moving at a steady pace
Creating shapes and visions
Imagination’s mission.

By day be serene
By night be exulting

Those sparkles so clear
Twinkle quite near
To that mother so bright
It’s a glorious sight.

Forever will it pass
It’s beauty’s sure to last
Every time it seems like new
When we see this navy blue.

By night by elation
By day by serenity
