Hopeless Love.
Aubree S Jun 2017
There's an insight to this mysterious downpour where each rain drop reminds me of how liked your coffee black. Our slow chaotic moments where you gilded your hand through my hair to comfort my anxiety. Giving me tortured thoughts that are an fiction red reviling each one of your lies. Leading to an iced tomorrow with that wicked lust you have for the other women. The one who plays enlightenment tricks on you but you only see her for the beauty she has. I wonder when you kiss me and pull away to look at my face do see her or do you see the women you once loved.

Two Lover.

Drained hands,
glued together.

Their silvered lips,
remain hostage.

In fear of,
rejection.

My Window View

You sit there,
in thought.

Your narrowed heart,
fills with flowers.

Blooming away;
with pride.

Among the Gutters
Aubree S Mar 2017
A stone wall that's turning dull from each witness; who leans against it waiting upon their desperation for our spare change. Sorrowful eyes that are so abbernat in this cruel world. He no longer notices people anymore only figures who live in a luxury world compared to him. He lives with just the worn down clothes with that reek of last weeks dumpster dive.
He rubs his grimy hands through his greasy hair. Pretending it feels like the women’s freshly washed hair whom sitting across from him. Eating a meal that's not only tasteful but also warm and  made with no worries of mold.
His stomach begins to cry, and the smell tries to water his month but he's too dehydrated, too weak to even move away. His bones so brentel he can barely lift his little jar filled only with two dollars worth of change. He slowly closes his pale, thin, eyelids, using his narrow, vainly hands to rub his raspy skin with those open scrapes explaining his years of loneliness.
His only companion is his self harm from the nights filled with blistered feet.  Slouching against this dry wall, causing another dull shade. Mumbling among the birds with his drained whistled voice begging for somewhere to sleep.

Let Go.
Aubree S Mar 2017
The cold breeze hits me with many hammers of shame. It pounds my mind as I watch each car pass through these busy roads. They are all in such a hurry to get somewhere. I sit here on the edge of this rooftop - alone, listening to whispers that fill my consciousness with negatively:  Let go.

Twisted Reatily
Aubree S Feb 2017
Our lives are defeated
with our only achievement,
being overthrown.

Sheltering from the:
ran down parks
robbed houses
crimeful news stories.

Committing to the markets that
lay across the streets,
conflicting sinful actions.

Restless dreams leaving us awake
counting down our memories,
as our days are rushed away.

Minds are only focus for the
numbness; floating to the demons
within our souls.

Our only escape
is lurking with the
shadows of the streets,
searching for the next victim

I.
A man with a generous heart
and kind smile of giving:
with a mind filled with wisdom and compassionate thoughts,
placing himself last and his loved ones first.
II.
He comes from a home where he is the middle child:
a father who loves farming,
a mother who loves cooking.
III.
He has the hands of a hardworking man,
hands that define a successful life:
a life of drag races,
construction sites,
and being a wonderful grandfather.
IV.
He is the man who provides more
for me and my family than he ever should have to.
He is the man who I want to walk me down the aisle on my big day.
He is the man who is my papa,
who holds a special spot in my heart.

Deep Flames
Aubree S Jan 2017
The raging fire,
must be crying for the impeded heart,
of whom was left behind in the black smoke.
Flaring with tension of a greedy man,
who imposters his own soul.

Blistering his self esteem,
scaring his personality,
burning away his desires.

Within the crackling sounds that reveals,
the dark overcast that's hoarding his life away.
With preflexed flames lining his positive thoughts,
that lurks between his suicidal mind.

Poisoning his lungs,
fogging his version,
restraining his voice.

His weak body erupts into a leery shadow,
collapsing beneath the shattered confidence.
Suffocating from the lack of empathy,
combusting his last breathe.

Diseased
Aubree S Dec 2016
Their relationship weeps
many different shades of blue.
Feeling low-spirited, overwhelmed,
and miserable.

Her torn tears,
cause the massive fog
that puts out the fire to their passion.

Blocking her mind with hollow dreams,
cursing his destiny with her dark trust.
His cold heart freezes her warm one.
They are both suffocated by
each other’s frustration.

One major mistake: believing
that they once loved each other,
but it was only their desperation:

For comfort,
for safety,
for happiness.

Drifting into Nature
Aubree S Dec 2016
I lay here on my lawn below the sunrise.
That's known for the comfort warmth,
it grants my spirit.

I release my hate into an unknown atmosphere,
as the pollution eats it away.
While my body relaxes to the,
dancing grass; that tickles my soft skin.

The smell of my grandfather garden,
shows each breath honesty.
Breathing out the paranoid headaches,
and inhaling the victory of self respect.

I listen to the silence of the trees,
sending peace into the
wonders of my mind.

Allowing me to relinquish any control,
and still feel as one with myself.
