You will give it to me
Then you'll take it away
Because somehow for you
Love's a game with to play
My intensity doesn't
Revolve with the days
Or a carousel ride
Love does not work this way

Love can always be broken
And rebuilt like clay
It's not just black and white
In fact often it's gray
But it does not run off
Once it's here it should stay
Not a pendulum swing
Should not back and forth sway

You will love me tomorrow
Could care less today
It is something I did
Or perhaps did not say
A small piece of me dies
Each time you pull away
I'm left here asking 'why?'
On my knees I will pray

The light dying inside
Now a barely lit flame
Have my eyes opened wide
Before I was insane
I try taking the blame
You're the one who will stray
On this coaster we ride
Love's a game not to play

I won't breakdown and cry
Get unstable today
All my feelings have died
In your game I won't play
So I must waive goodbye
'Cause no longer I'll pay
I must do to survive
Love does not work this way

Love is just a bad poetry that nobody wants to read
but everyone wants to write about it

nick grabs my waist and pulls me closer to him, and there’s a light in his eyes i haven’t seen before, a manic sort of spark brighter than the neon spotlights waving all around us. other bodies and sounds rage all around us, the temperature and the beat rising as one, my own heartbeat echoing in my head. i’m not a dancer and if it weren’t for his hands in mine i’m sure i would have been lost, tossed and trapped in this gyrating mass of limbs and smoke and screaming.

but he isn’t lost, the lights blinking rapidly and reflecting in his smile, he’s smiling, and i can’t hear him but he’s laughing too,
i can feel it.
he’s magnetic.
It doesn't matter
how many infatuated knights
I've brought to my table,
The hollow whisper of you
still echoes in my mind.
And the cold comfort
of sleeping with substitutes
only leaves the heart bereft.
Our flower bed tumbled
with naked leaves entwined
with Forget-me-not’s
and breathless kisses,
was never meant to turn
into a ****** killing field.
And yet it did.

There's a fear in me I can't deny.
That the memory of us
madly tearing each others hearts out,
while ripping each others clothes off
will eventually start to dissolve
like an unholy ghost in the wind.
Denial and terror at the same time.
Because what would become of me,
if my fractured soul would let
the hollow whisper to return?

Diary confessions
I've kissed so many strangers lately,
to find you.
But the spell you've put on me,
denies them all.
Diary confessions of a coward
I haven't really eaten in days,
but I've tasted manna from heaven.
Dancing under overcast stars,
drinking the essence of oblivion.
I haven't really tried to be sensible,
or act the reasonable way of society.
But people don't seem to care anyway.
They hunger for a smile, a touch that transfer only...
Simplicity
Unregarded affection
Payless affinity.
And so,
I live
Still roaming the treasures of life,
spending the few grains of hope
left inside me.
To find residues of love
that I might steal
From you
and you...

Hapless people
you are but one brief moment away
from swallowing the answer
of love.
Panzar maiden in full armor
I couldn't quite put my finger on it
Suspicion tarnished the tongue
Turning what was sweet into something bitter
Unease washes out at the edges, threatening to burst
Waves disturb the calm oceans that once settled
Your lies poison the water
Blue pools in your eyes turn black
False lyrics now fall on deaf ears
The door you opened has closed
Your words that once brought purpose to life
Are dead to me
