Moonrise
JT Nelson Jun 2
Blue to gold
Gold to red
Red darkens
Black.

Specks of light
One by one
Filling my
View.

Low glow east
Full moon rise
Smiling at
Me.

I smile back.

I looked at you, babe,
Only to dream about it,
Oh! I experienced it.

In the dream that I was having,
I was happily skiing,
Skiing down the valley.

Down the smooth bathykolpian valley,
I dreamt that I was falling freely.
I went around the navel to *** down under.

Grey
Alyan Khan Jul 23
as the night falls
neither white, nor black
old, or the new
my mind seems to turn grey

I wish I could fly away
I hope I find my way
Dear one how I miss you
Long years have I stood here basking in your memory
The time comes though when we will be one again
My body is swiftly failing me
Nightfall comes
Where once I was nimble and fleet of foot
Now I stagger on a cane
My hands once like lightning tremble in pain
Pain seems to be my companion now
My senses fade as well
I am dying quickly, I know this is true
It's only a matter of a short while longer
My place beside you is ready
My stone set by yours
Where yours speaks of my love for you
' GLORIOUS ROSE '
Mine will say all that need be said
' THEY CALLED ME NOBODY '
Carmen Jane May 16
Tangled, in unfinished thoughts,
Sending energy waves in knots,
Not wanting to go, to that one place,
For fear of falling in disgrace
Scratching the floor under your feet,
Avoiding once more to feel the heat
You sigh and wonder, in disbelief,
How can you miss this little thief
She stole your heart after all,
As she wrote that poem at nightfall.

as sun kissed the seas
moon rises, loud mourning sleeps
may we rest in peace
