Like the restless leaves of Autumn
and the killing touch of Winter;
My love for you falters.

The sun has
seeped, deep into my
skin
and I am a swollen fruit,
reddened and sweet and
full of sugar
hours after the moon shows her silver face
and starts to **** away the heat
from my olive oil skin
leaving just sand
and salt
in the curls
and waves
in my ears
and a comfortable pulse
in my fingernails.

should be elegant,
should evoke a physical response.
It should incite a shiver,
from your soul to your chest.
It should unite two lovers by their gaze,
a gentle solicitation of the senses.
It should smell like sweat an taste like rose water.

You can't compose a love poem without crippling somaesthesia.

Oh spring,
if you were but mortal,
or better yet, that I

was the May breeze,
you and I could make
such passionate love,

for I have long been
enamored by you.
Like loving fingers

through cascading hair,
I would weave magic
in your meadow grasses

and flowering trees.
I would move over your
greening landscapes

with a most ardent touch
and spread the intoxicating
fragrance of your

blossoms as a priceless
perfume for the only
one I could ever truly love.

I would caress your
billowing clouds, ferrying
them gently about, and

we would lie naked upon
their undulating waves
and allow the sun to warm us.

God, what a dreamer! What
a spell spring has cast.
Oh, if I were but the breeze.

Another spring poem I thought
I would put before you -
perhaps bring some warmth into
the reading

The dream machine be casted grey
And sent me home alone today;
Home alone by dreamer’s power
And struck down solid ‘round the hour.

So as they passed, my mind did wander
Through alleys they had hoped to squander.
From every cell upon my head—
Removed again and sent to bed.

Laid to waste and waned through air
And to the misty frigate there.
Across those plains and through the cold
Where to an end it all unfolds.

So send me out, it matters little
We remain still dream’s transmittal
For where the rain will fall toward clouds
This dream will end, depart the crowds.

I do not love you as if you were salt-rose, or topaz,
or the arrow of carnations the fire shoots off.
I love you as certain dark things are to be loved,
in secret, between the shadow and the soul.

I love you as the plant that never blooms
but carries in itself the light of hidden flowers;
thanks to your love a certain solid fragrance,
risen from the earth, lives darkly in my body.

I love you without knowing how, or when, or from where.
I love you straightforwardly, without complexities or pride;
so I love you because I know no other way

than this: where I does not exist, nor you,
so close that your hand on my chest is my hand,
so close that your eyes close as I fall asleep.
I am the power,
I work the machine.
Brainwash my people
Like the **** Regime.

Subliminal and discreet,
I wear an ignorance-spun cape.
But what do they call my teachings?
Patriotism. How great.

Whether black or white,
Grand or small,
They are my zombies.
I rule them all.

Not green, not decayed,
They're red, white and blue.
The idiocy spreads like an infection.
From them to you.

Some are corrupt,
They see through my cape.
I exterminate them,
And continue on my hell-bent way.

America may lose itself one day,
It may not remain strong and true.
But until then, stay begging for the brains,
Of the Red, White, and Blue.
The lies,
Make the mask,
Make the face.
**** it fast.

I die, I cry.
They lie, I listen.

Fight the power, **** the machine.
Fight the power, **** the machine.
Fight the power, Save yourself.

Johnny is a white boy,
Born into Democracy.
Johnny is a slave boy,
But he's told that he is free.

Johnny asks his Mama,
"Why am I the same?
Why do I have to work so hard?
Given my bland name?"

Johnny's Mama slaps him,
Makes him straight and true.
Now blindly loves his government,
You are aware that you do, too.

For reasons unbeknownst,
A pleasant government image, you make.
Under the happy illusion,
That you and I are safe.
This collection could not be possible without the endowment of our corrupted capitalist pig of a government.

My heart aches at the thought of your absence..
my skin craves your electrifying touch..
Did you know?

Did you know I want to explore the whole world,
But will mean almost nothing if I don't share it with you?
It will be an incomplete satisfaction..

To me the world makes more sense when you're around..
How so? I look at things in a whole new way, a more positive way..
That gray cloud around my world disappears..
Did you know you have that impact on me?

Hopefully you better understand why I want you to walk this earth with me..maybe one day ill get the chance to do so..
Why wouldn't I want you mi rey? You are perfect..did you know?

Your intelligence and your drive fascinates me..
The way you speak and the way you smiled at me,
Nearly knocks me off my feet..did you know?

Regardless of your past and what you've done, I still admire you.
No matter how horrific it may be..did you know that when you walked beside me I wasn't afraid of the world anymore?

Did you know, I'm in love?
