just one on your tongue. They
fall everywhere. They fall on
your hair and turn it to white. They
fall on Red Square and leave it

stark as the flights. They sit on your
fence and ride up the poles like big fat
rolls of a barbary night. They spread
themselves out far and wide. They’re

shutting down cities. And people have
died. And now people are scared to
leave. They believe anything you tell
them. I’m not saying it is isn’t so. But I
won’t run from a flake of snow.

As the Virus distracts
state legislators silently
reshape the landscape
for the aftermath, when
it will be too late for any
protestations due to the
lockdown of a false fear.
my dog has corona he as to wear a mask
just to put it on is not an easy task
he dont want to wear it . he has made it clear
shakes his head all over when ever i go near

dont know what he will do.  when the gloves come out
he wont wear them either of that there is no doubt
he dosent realise its to keep the germs away
thinks it is a game he dont want to play

he wont  wear his mask  he has made it clear
shakes his head all over when ever i go near
when i put the gloves on he just pulls way
thinks its just game he aint gonna play

I can see Spring
and her fine colours

I long to stand under the
cherry blossom tree as
it rains confetti down on me.
Instead I stand in real rain, hazy,
pattering, smatterings of daffodils
pressed against barbed wire.
So they closed the formal garden at wollaton Park but I could look in on it from outside
