"I love you,"

I said.

He replied,

"Good night."

That night

I knew

what love was for me

was a dream to him
My heart is like a canvas
stinging trident a brush
and the tears are
my colors.

I'am the agent of suffering
The more pain my heart bears
the more I love.

And the moral jeopardy..
YES! the risks will only enlarge it
they will sharpen it gloriously
They are the domain, where
I shine the most.
i wrote a lot of great poetry when i was in love
i wrote even better poetry when i was in pain
i wrote the best poetry when i realized that the two emotions were actually the same.
In hollowed halls I roam until the dawn
The minds and bodies are already done
I walk across my mind and not the room
Eaten by my thoughts of impending doom!
But there is a dwindling light from afar
It floats in my mind and falls in my heart

do you ever wonder
if you find pleasure in your sadness?
i ask myself many times if i do.
in the moment it isn't pleasurable,
but it's kept me company for so long.
i wonder if i should call it a friend.
a long distance lover
coming home for the weekend,
who will arrive soon
with tickets of tears
and promises of gloom.
maybe that makes me a special *******,
but at least i'm not lonely.
three cheers for pain.

a poet
acts as a mirror,
an instrument
to cast
a translucent reflection
not one's own sentiment
but upon
the kaleidosopic realities
of the world

be the light you want to see...
The more she untangled her soul,
The more she discovered how deeply in love she was.
I do efforts to get away from you,
The farther i move,
The closer i get to you. ♡
I could not
Help but think of the past
In all it's splendor
And all it's torment

The eyes that once glistened
For me
Now glistened for
someone else

The face that once
put a smile on mine is gone
Tucked away like keepsakes
In the trunk of the past

Time can heal
But it cannot tell whether
The future that's right in front
Of me is living, and well
