I came to a fork in the road.
I stared at it for a long time.
It stared back, daunting.
Unmoving.
I picked it up and snapped it over my knee.

I decided to not decide.
I used the fork to eat my lunch.
Sitting there -
at a fork in the road.
I ate. And slept.
Refusal.

I refuse to cooperate.
At the end of the year, the apathy is weighing on me heavily. I have decisions to make and I'm deciding not to make them.
You came in like rain
that poured heavily,
washing away the dirt and remains
of the polluted world
but, some despised your presence
for they lacked warmth and security
you made them shiver,
you made them suffer,
when you believed that
you gave them joy
With your pure drops of water

Your soft whispers
Give me shivers
Fingers quiver
On my cheek
Speaking softly
Breathing, wafting
Don't stop talking
Always speak

Kiss me softly
Kiss me long
Roughly, gently
Kiss me (til I'm) wrong

I tried to play a simple song,
a song until it breaks -
Imagining the melodies,
a broken piano makes.

I strike a note, it makes a noise,
a noise of deep despair -
I notice now the noise it makes,
a noise beyond repair.

But do not fear or cower here,
although the noise is strong -
it's just a simple melody,
a broken piano's song.

If I don't
Take charge
Of my life

I'm afraid of
What I'll lose

Myself

But most
Importantly

*You

Come play in the dark side
don't be scared darling I'll be your guide
come ******* kiss
let me make you shake
let me make your mind race all day

Come feel your power darling
feel me tremble underneath you
come show me what you can do
listen to your name fall from my lips
welcome to the dark side darling.
