Love?
Rosa Carmona Jan 2016
Love should not be an hourglass timing you on how long you should love a person.
Reality is, we never stop loving.
We never forget.
We just play pretend.
Pretend to forget the memories that once made us feel as if we were standing on top of the highest peak of the world.
Everything was at ease in the moment.
So blissful.
Love someone so much that they'll never forget.
Even if the hourglass wins and time is not enough, the love will overpower it.

Sunset
Rosa Carmona Dec 2015
Her eyes as big as a galaxy,
gleaming like a bright star as she starred out into the distance.
Piece of artwork being admired in a museum,
everybody watched.
Watched and admired her delicacy and pureness.
As pure as the holy water carried in a Catholic Church.
She was lovely, and she filled me with awe every time i caught a glimpse of her.
Seeing her was like seeing a beautiful sunset at dusk.
Full of euphoria and relaxation, but I've missed the sunset these past few days and I am starting to forget.
Forgetting the vibrant colors that illuminated me.
A different sunset will come tomorrow, but it wont be her.
It won't be the same sunset that brought delight to my life.
