I learned
to plant the seeds
of happiness.
There are flowers
blooming
where the scars
used to be.

it’s heartbreaking,
nothing is permanent.

on the bright side,
nothing is permanent
You can't always be a light.
Sometimes you need to be a mirror,
And reflect someone else's glow

Monsters don’t exist
Still, we are very afraid
Because we made them
Monsters. A concept so often used to represent anything dislikable to society, which we are afraid of. Yet literal monsters don’t exist.

i met you
as the leaves fell
and the sky turned grey

the world grew cold
as my heart turned warm

i missed you
as the leaves grew back
and the sky turned blue

the world grew warm
as my heart turned cold

but you see -
she has
a tendency
to be silent
when it gets
real loud
inside her head.

You will not find happiness in the material world.
You will die and your body will be placed in the ground.
Your possessions will be dispersed, bagged, sold or given away for free.
And all that will be left of you is a name and birth date through a death date.
You must live for another life entirely.
You must store treasures in another realm completely separate from the material one.
You have one life. Spend it wisely.
“Do not lay up for yourselves treasures on earth, where moth and rust destroy and where thieves break in and steal;  but lay up for yourselves treasures in heaven, where neither moth nor rust destroys and where thieves do not break in and steal. For where your treasure is, there your heart will be also.“ Matthew 6:19-21
