As I sit alone in solitude,
from my eye there drops a tear.
I scream out from within myself
and it echoes in my ear.

Days turn into months,
months turn into years,
the years still seem like yesterday,
my eyes still drop my tears.

As I remember back to December 06, 1994,
to Mount Sanai, Toronto,
I felt like I had scored
the winning goal of the Stanley Cup;
God smiled upon my life,
intervened to create a king and to make a queen, my wife.

For it was the day a king and Queen were born,
Born from a little girl,
The Greatest Gift that God could give,
to add beauty to my world.

To have been apart of such a miracle,
I feel privileged and full of pride,
I will never know more happiness
the remainder of my life.

From her very first smile, she gave to me, she owned  my heart and  soul, I didn't try to hide the fact that I finally felt whole.

I have been to the top of mountains and I have seen the moon and stars... rainbows, the sunrise and sunset but there is nothing that compares, to the most beautiful thing I have ever seen, which I am sure you reallize, the unconditional love I have seen and felt, when I have looked into her eyes.

So today I hope she feels the happiness she has so kindly given me, and I pray that God shines down on her, like he does the Mustard seed.

There is no language that contain  the words,
to describe the amount of love,
for  her, God's Greatest Gift,
Sent from up above.

Lord, I know I have made mistakes and still you chose to bless my life, Thank you from my very soul for my daughter and my wife.

Today is my daughter's birthday and I wish her all that life can give, to give her peace and happiness for as long as she will live.

So Happy Birthday Princess, you have made me feel like a king, you have inspired me to feel and write, you have inspired me to sing.

Just last night
I had a strange dream;
in it; you were an ocean and I was a stream.

My love flowed to you in an endless supply.
It flowed in the stream and could never run dry.

As I flowed into you,
we blended as one,
sparkling and blue under the warm summer sun.

Together we shared our hopes and our dreams,
we loved one another and created new streams.

The cycle went on,
and so it should be,
the new streams flowed down and into the sea.

I will never forget that wonderful dream,
where, in it;  you were the ocean and I was the stream.
