sweepin sleeting driving bleating

no end, no sight, no depth, no hearing

open close, stay or go

press on away, press on slow

fight or flight, jump or skip

finish light, finish quick

this or that, drown this, dredge that

swirl it around like wine in a glass

perspective here, feeling there

unwelcomed flood of memories past

welcome now a fresh desire

around and under, over thoroughly

humorless, funny, silliness without jesting only daggers
sharp as swords, heavy as a ten pound hammer
dull when false, but like dynamite when on bullseye

fun for all but the target, unless too broad the fall

I went down, then came up
I asked the wrong question

pushed asunder by my own hand
rejected from my shifting constitution

up now, then down

right side up, but backwards
