What I found really ironic
Was that my head teacher stood up in front of us and said
“I know what you’re thinking and why you’re thinking it;
Because you’re teenagers and therefore you think you know everything.”

And I wonder if he ‘knows’
That every day I question
The conversations
Between constellations
And the persistence
Of my selfish existence
And I wonder if he ‘knows’
That every day I question
What colours we choose for crying
And what I gain from lying
And the age at which it became OK to play pretend games again
Or whether we even ever gave them up.

And I wonder if he ‘knows’
That what he’s said is ironic
Or if he really thinks he made a good point.
A poem is a harmony
Of words without a melody
It is a written door
Into a world new
A poem is a poets escape
Into a place where emotion glows
And where they can write with passion
Without worry of word ration
A poem is a magnify glass
Where forever every second will last
And the simplest of times
Becomes the hero of your rhymes
And walking home from school
Becomes a metaphor, a life long rule
A poem is an incredible way
To show the world how you feel today
It looks like words on a page
And yet it frees you from a cage
A poem is a harmony
Of words without a melody
Yes that's write this is a poem about a poem!

Hard to miss, you can take me home.
I'd rather be anyone than to be alone.
Marlboro-stained teeth
have my lips controlled.
Don't mistake the chemicals
for our souls.

I move with the waters inside your ribcage.
Because when I drown in you,
it's the perfect place.

Softly, please, taking off our clothes:
I can see the kisses that have left holes.
You've been acid-washed
by love that wasn't stronger.
Take off your armor,
so you can stay here longer.

Your face is as cold
as the place I found you in.
You can let go of the hurt
trapped beneath your skin.

I keep warm in your fire that beats fast.
To be alone with you, it to be, at last.

Hard to miss, I will take you home.
You can be anyone, rather than be alone.
Remove your shoes, but not your heart.
You can stay here, as our world falls apart.

Touching the
     curves of my mind
   Fabrications of
        missing pieces
Too many
    troubles left behind
            Filled with ugliness,
   and bitter diseases
       Thoughts are somewhat
scrambled
Yet I know I'm thinking clearly
        Sometimes
Life is a gamble
         Gotta roll the dice
     To reach your destiny
I cry too much,
           Of that I'm sure
     I could blame it on
            Anxiety
         Or all the unjust hurts
****** upon me
But in the end, I know
It's not what you can see
           It's where you go
And what you believe

I'm gonna start believing
         *in me
Evolved under the harvest wall
dressed in clothes before they disintegrate as they fall
with bullets and tears so deep nothing left to control
students on the midnight fall of the law.....

We are the Students, ... .behind this midnight wall
such bitterness comes from one and from all
what have we here is pleading from Peter and Paul
As they wrote their Poems no less as they saw...

Splashed into this world
the wall will not get them down
the wall will not ring or bring as they are bound
this train will not stop for the lying man they swear....

We don't need no education... just rock and roll
We don't need no more thought control
We are the boys on the wall
not bowing down as the curtain falls ..oh yes, let us have a ball.....

Teachers, Leave those kids alone
hey people bring those students... where they belong
all and in all, you can get them on the phone
Oh yes, there is another brick in the wall.... Please, Let it be known...

When the night comes,
Take the Armour,
Swing your mightiest sword,
Like a sudden gust of wind,
Gather in light,
Of thousand angels,
And fight the battle,
Of demons and devils.

Rising temper,
Waging battle,
Wound after wound,
Yet the victory is clear.

So say the prayer,
O' mighty soldier,
It is the strongest weapon,
For it is,
The Lord who win the battle!
There is beauty in everything we see.
In every inch of every tree.

There is beauty in blades of grass.
Always growing while seasons pass.

There is beauty in the soil we spread.
To grow the things not in our head.

There is beauty in all of our minds.
We think the things we aren't able to find.

There is beauty in all of our hearts.
Seen with change that passions start.

We often are too worried about material things.
To notice the beauty that nature brings.
So many words leave you meandering
When brevity can take you home faster
