When I kissed the cheek of the break of day
Into her ears I whispered
All of my secrets
I felt her presence stray into my emotions
Where she laughed and played
Until I found she had stolen
My love from me

The blackest night became my new beloved
While daybreak sat and smiled
Knowing that she was merely inches
From accepting his embrace as her own
She laughed and playedΒ Β
Until I found she had stolen
My love from me

Now I am here gazing into your eyes alone
Yet mine are not filled with any tears
I became a fugitive of love
With an angry heart
Forgiveness has never known
Until I found that you had stolen
My love from me
