Every Fall
before you
know
the furies
furiously
begin
to blow
colder
stronger
winds begin
to bite
as the stresses
of our lives
begin to
put up a bigger
fight.

Going away are
the warmer
more relaxed
bright Summer days
as the oncoming
furies
blow
in more
stressful ways.

Let the annual
“colder”
make you
wiser
make you
bolder
not befall upon your
nerves
like a burden on your
shoulder.

Do not let the
stresses of
everyday’s worries
get blown out
of proportion
as time ceaselessly
hurries
we can quickly become
careless
blocking our own
awareness
in the “darker”
in the “colder”
of The Furies.
