Humans.
Essentially contradictory in nature.
Complex.
We see but a glimpse of the stranger's life.
A ripple on the surface.
A reflection of our own world.

I was angry.
He died and I was angry.
I felt no one knew the depth
Of the pain and guilt within me
- No one knew him,
How could they understand?

I was just another passer-by
All they saw was a ripple
A happy face
(A brave face)
A reflection of their own mind.
"it's just a window from the room we're bound to....
Everyone's a building burning
with no one to put the fire out.
Standing at the window looking out,
waiting for time to burn us down.
Everyone's an ocean drowning
with no one really to show how." ~ Blame it on the Tetons, Modest Mouse.
