M.I.A

Keep lacking of something,

And watch it

Increasing in value

Same rule with you,

My pet, my asset,

The cornerstone

No chest of gold

Could rebuy you

From the clutches

Of devious freedom

Aeons of longing,

Distance in light years,

A thought of you —

Unstoppable, penetrating

And I keep saving,

Coin after coin,

Maybe someday,

I'll have just enough
