it was that time of times
when man had no need
no need of barns to fill
no thought of profit
a man was a brother in need
and in need a brother indeed
a brother to lavish love upon
a blessing to the giver
it was a time shortlived
and it took a God to reinstate
and forever to balance
the unjust weights
