I'm a passenger in my own mind
what a turbulent ride
no space to relax
no physics to abide

I'm a passenger in my body
a fixture placed in a lobby
immobile, collecting dust
a degraded photocopy

I've been a passenger all my life
an inconvenient alibi
strapped into padded dreams
unable to depolarize

The day I grab the wheel
I know I'll be alright
