My eyes fixated on the rear view
The water is overflowing
The walls are caving in
My body is moving ever slowly

So young at heart
So old in my bones
Weakened by another busy dinner date
Burning and Breaking myself
For something I am merely good at

My childhood dreams have seemed to become something so out of reach

To create new ones that seem more sustainable

Is a rose by any other name
