But for that little colored boy, I'm sure he asked his parents.
Who probably stated that the way things are done?

We all heard the little colored boy story.
Who came to know  similar stories?
He heard how some think they are better than him.
Based on discrimination of their wealth.

Some profit at others expense.
And in various ways the Jim Crow's law assisted many of them.

It was conditioned in him to abide.
The little colored boy saw all the signs.

Whether on above the colored water fountain.
Whether above the movie theater.
Whether it came down to even the rest room.
Advise by his own race things he shouldn't do.

The little colored boy every man or woman knew.

He knew , he couldn't depend upon the law.
Many of them grew up racist.
And just was wearing a badge.

Judges were intimidated to enforce the rules.
Because the power that be control the decision.
Books today tries to play truth down.

Cause a few blind folks think things has changed around.
But justice is still needed in society.
And books need to stay with reality.

Yes, this is the story of that little colored boy.
Who was judged based solely on his color?

Oh, some will be offended.
And rightly so.
But just remember life does go on.
