Said the lawyer to his client...
you'll be locked away
for all the misdeeds that you've done
ripping your business partner off
has bought you well undone

Said the client to his lawyer...
you've mounted the best defense
that you could
it is now time for me
to be incarcerated at Dartwood

Said the lawyer to his client...
there is no chance of an appeal
a ten year sentence
is your deal
that's what you get
for being such a heal

Said the client to his lawyer...
have you no criminal stains
upon your wig and gown
I've been told that you're
the shiftiest lawyer in town

Said the lawyer to his client...
the judiciary hasn't caught
me out yet
but in the future it might
find something on me
that is a good odds on bet

Said the client to his lawyer...
none of us is above the law
and one day you'll be locked
behind a set of cast iron doors

Said the lawyer to his client...
yes! I must admit
over the past twenty years
I've been involved
in some shady ****

Said the client to his lawyer...
we've both chosen
to follow a path of shame
and a judges gavel
will always bring an end
to all illicit games
