My road goes on turning and turning
Sunset and evening look for the day
I am wishing, for freedom from yearning
While pursuing
New horizons, anyway

I can become myself, not believing in fear
Each passing minute, I say to me
There are two kinds of surrender
One that will make you strong
Another makes you free

There is an unmindful moon dwelling in my sky
Unaware of the hope in my heart
I stand out in this cold and cry and cry
For ideas and beliefs I hold inside
From which I will not depart

When this world walked upon jagged rocks
It found the pain of change
I caught a falling star and softly knocked
While all of existence
Was rearranged

That old sun withdrew his rays for awhile
While visible reality disappeared
But soon, he rose and quickly smiled
Washed away
My tears
