I am a ray of light that shines
down, to warm the ground
to help little plants reach there
goal. I am the energy that plants
photosynthesis they use from
my light food for there growth.

I am a ray of light on that rainy
day, when everything seems
washed up and washed away,
I will pierce those clouds and
show light instead of darkness
below. I am a ray of hope to
those that see me below.

I am a ray of light, that shines
down each day, I am life for so
many, energy they take in there
own unique way. I will rise every
morning and bathe those below
with light to pierce the darkness
and bring on a new brighter day.
