Our visions are filled with
Unaccounted for
Tales of slaughter

The lingering images are sanitized or justified
••
We hurt each other
We don't even seem to notice
••
The cattle cars have been replaced by
Governmental Policy Papers

We send our children to high school
And watch them die
••
We spout forth our Freely chosen sound bytes

Nature itself has been destroyed

Hanging lynched from the TREE
--
Spinning turning

Writing love poems to anyone
We happen to see
