Rocks
Unmoving
Strong
Sometimes misplaced
But never forgotten

Showered with warm summer rain
Covered with beautiful red autumn leaves
Coated in the soft light snow of winter
And drowned in the muddy floods of spring
The rock is unchanged
Stubborn
And strong

The rock is as old as time
And as time passes around it
Nature dies
Trees fall with great cracks and booms
Animals die with old age
But not rock
Rock still remains

Nothing will ever be
As solid as rock
