The daily human race is a hill to climb
And doing it alone is no peace of mind
When the sunset slowly ends
You're bound to need a friend
To help you reach tomorrow one more time

So you watch the faces coming down the street
Or find a bar where lonely people meet
I had so much doubt
About who I lived without
Until you made my happiness so sweet

CAUSE IN YOUR ARMS I FIND MY BETTER HALF
YOU BROUGHT ME NEW SERENITY AT LAST
A PASSION FILLED MY SOUL
THE BELLS OF HEAVEN TOLL
CAUSE IN YOUR ARMS I FIND MY BETTER HALF

I've been around the block a time or two
I knew you were the answer wrapped in you
I destroyed my old addresses...
Even thoughts of old caresses
Cause we were making love not making do
