Blue Shibuya Dream

The crush of urban Tokyo

Crawling into ancient daydreams

And coming off as murky rain

City within cities

Unsettled, streetless

The wavelength of logographic script

Moves as water across concrete and glass

Across faces, figures, and forms

Some alive and human

Some dead and decaying

Once a tree blossoming in the rays of

The dizzy rising sun

Now a destabilizing cathedral

Don't look down when you bow

To such fallen gods

Look them in the eye
