By the winds hand

Surface of the pond

ripples by the wind's hand

the heat clings to wet skin

as she slowly pushes against

the warm warm water

she moves on from me

she moves on from apology

Languid and carefree

sweat beads on her forehead

an answer and prayer to the sun

for its kiss and lovely thoughts

Surface of the pond

hides its deep water mystery

contains its ebb and flow

what is locked away

by its sandy bottom

human eyes will never know

the same goes for the girl's heart
