Still Winter

Forest covered with frost,

Animals lay in deep sleep,

Yet i still wonder.

 

Barefoot on this frost covered grass,

I pinball tree to tree;

Bush to bush.

 

Rivers frozen over,

Lakes achingly deep blue,

I wait in agony for the month of June.

 

I search for life.

I search for warmth.

I search for
