I'll be living in a manner most grand
once the lottery office puts the cash in my hand
I'll not be sticking around this old roost
when my bank account is given a nice boost

I've crossed all the numbers on my entry ticket
and should they be drawn I'll be on a good wicket
one shall be relaxing and having an extended ball
one lives in anticipation of a lottery office call

tonight I'll be sitting glued to my television screen
watching to see if my numbers feature on the screen
those days of being constrained by the lack of cash
will be erased once I win a substantial stash

the odds of winning are one in a million
but I live in hope of collecting a million
one must chance one's slender luck
if one wishes to win a *** of green bucks
