Angels of Death

Eyes empty,

Body soulless,

I feast on the remains of myself.

Haunting cries dance through the skies,

The voices of those who have fallen.

Angels of Death fly over me,

Dropping bones into the sea.

I leave my body and follow aimlessly.

The currents taking me; pulling on my body.

The grey skies painting a picture as I float farther out.

Angels of Death sing now for me,

Keeping me company as i float in the dark waters.

I ate myself.

But they found me.
