Whisper on My Wedding Day

From good ole "Uncle John."

"I have lusted after you for 50 years."

I knew this.

He had been whispering ***** little things a long time.

I was 12 or 13 years old when it started.

A lot of years of trying a lot of different ways to get him to stop.

Short of telling my Aunt of course.

At 12 you don't fully understand.

You just don't your Aunt to cry, or change the course of her future because of a few stupid comments.

And after hundreds of stupid comments,

How could you tell her then?

All hindsight.

I just know that whisper was the only thing I remember hearing on my wedding day.

As it turns out I should have hung a noose from the altar anyway.
