I have Waited many Lifetimes to Know you~

Through many lifetimes I have known you

the signs and symbols are seared into the delicate

pores of my skin

I am done being robbed of your love for me

tired of fading to the back for the wrong person

to shine

You see...

My heart beats to sustain me and yet the flow

of life belongs to you...and the resistance of this angers me

from inside my glass house

When some people close their eyes they can see,

feel and breathe their loved one in as if they were

right there...with you and I we do this with eyes wide open

Our fire touches us in places we never knew existed

Our water has kissed our lips and saturated our souls

Our air has felt the heaves of our chests in peaking passion

Our earth is waiting to feel our foundations weight

Blending the you in I will remove the stories never written

from my skin

only then will you be able to write our own story

My skin...your ink

eternal
