Some things they tell you

When enlightenment is bleak

With hardly any at all love can be discreet

Heard you before when life was a mess.

Processing now and it's hard to digest

So much lost time and regret

Too numb now to let ourselves to get upset.

Too late now for anyone to interject

Alas no cure the pain of reject
