Silence and pain.

I have moved in shadows where no light dares to travel.

I have stood in front of crowds, completely naked, bearing my soul, seeking comfort and not many would see me, and those who did see me could not reach me.

I know pain.

I have sat in silence, in a state closer to death than sleep, waiting to be coddled by whatever God that may exist.

Waiting for the universe to tell me that I exist.

All I got in return was the same silence I was putting out, same pain I was enduring and in understanding this I understand that the universe exists infinitely for me to create whatever of it I wanted, and if silence and pain was all I had then that would be all I ended up with.

I know pain, and because I of this, I know compassion.
