If I ever say I love you more,
It doesn't mean I love you more than you love me.
It means I love you more with each second, minute, hour, or day to be.
I love you more than the ocean ever thought it could hold,
More than the mountains rise above the countryside so bold.
I love you more with every second that passes, like the blink in a tiny baby’s eye,
More than the minutes it takes for a firework to reach the sky.
I love you more than every hour waiting for the day’s work to end,
More than the days that space us and all the ways we bend.
So when I say I love you more, I love you more than I could ever explain to you,
Which I think we can both agree means we love each other more too.
