The heart gets too much credit
dubbed the "seat of affections"
but tis so prone to personal persuasions

When in reality the heart
doesn't do any "feeling" at all
its the brain that makes that call

Love is actually located where
pleasure meets association
in a harmonic progression

"Heartache" is really caused
by the sadness and sorrow
of the fact we can't see tomorrow

"Heartbreak" is when our grief
causes a distressful torment
and we woe in those moments

People are deceived about
the function of the heart
it's just the body's most vital part
